Inspiring the Next Generation Through Vision Education
At Alpro OptiSaver, we believe that every child deserves the chance to see the world clearly. As part of our commitment to community care and education, we recently brought our Schools Talk Program to SJKC Kg Baru Batu 8 Labu, creating an eye-opening experience for young minds.
Engaging Students with Fun and Knowledge
The session was led by our charismatic Optometrist Ivan, who captivated students with an exciting and educational presentation on:
- The basics of how our eyes work
- Good habits for maintaining healthy vision
- The effects of screen time on young eyes
- Signs that may indicate a child needs glasses
Through fun visuals, interactive questions, and age-appropriate explanations, Ivan turned science into a story every child could understand and enjoy.

Empowering Malaysia’s Future Generation
Our mission goes beyond clinics — we’re committed to empowering the youth with essential knowledge that promotes early eye health awareness.
At SJKC Kg Baru Batu 8 Labu, the enthusiasm from students and teachers alike showed us the importance of these initiatives. Together, we can:
- Reduce preventable vision issues
- Encourage regular check-ups from a young age
- Ensure that no student is left behind in learning due to vision challenges
“Vision impacts everything — from a child’s learning to their confidence. That’s why these talks are so important.” – Optometrist Ivan

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the dedicated educators and students of SJKC Kg Baru Batu 8 Labu for welcoming us so warmly. Your openness and engagement made this session truly meaningful.
